Sometimes life gets in the way. Work and family gets in the way. But how do we carve out special time for ourselves when our fuel tank is running on empty?
Start by making a list of things that you want to do, that would make you happy (or happy to do with family or friends) - a wish list if you must call it. Then make a list of what you ARE doing right now and what you usually do every night when you come home from work, or when the children come home from school. Next make a list of any splurges you have made this month, like bought a new purse, or a new football jersey. Were they worth it?
Lastly, look back at your wish list. If you cut out your splurges and time browsing the web, etc., could you do something on your wish list instead?
